Anthony Barraza
Founder/Owner
President and Founder of Cal Coast Power and Co-Founder of GB Power Tech.. Anthony started in the utility industry as an engineer for Southern California Edison in 2005. In 2011, Anthony left SCE and joined the business world by taking a position in sales and business development overseas in Sydney, Australia. Since this time, Anthony has valued business and product development, and has tailored the majority of his expertise in engineering products and tools for utility customers. In 2015, Anthony started Cal Coast Power as a consulting, engineering, and manufacturing agency focusing on distribution, transmission and substation development.
Anthony’s business background comes from many early years of growing up in a hydraulic & pneumatic shop started by his grandfather in Bakersfield, CA. Anthony holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and Business from California State University, Fresno. Anthony has always valued sports, athletics and health as his number one component to being happy and smiling daily. He loves the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, surfing, dirt biking, aviation, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and animals. Every morning, you can find Anthony running with his best friend and dog Gunnie.
Matt Martin
Business Development Manager
Matthew joined Cal Coast Power in 2023, focusing on business development throughout Southern California. He is committed to building strong relationships within the electrical and utility industries, supporting distributors and end users by ensuring their project needs, timelines, and technical requirements are met. Known for his reliable communication and product expertise, Matthew works to deliver consistent value on every project.
A graduate of California Lutheran University, Matthew earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business in 2010. He brings more than 10 years of outside sales experience, specializing in cultivating relationships that drive both immediate and long-term success.
Jon Girgis
Business Development
Jonathan Girgis recently joined the Cal Coast Power Team in 2026. Newly graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Business Management.
Jon’s excited to continue growing his career at Cal Coast Power, where he strives to expand his knowledge in the utility industry and contribute to the company’s continued success.
Jon plans to further his career as an Infantry Officer in United States Army, while continuing to develop skills as a leader by serving the community and country.
